1. Apple HealthKit Data

Nucleus integrates with Apple's HealthKit API to provide you with personalized productivity and health insights. Your health data is treated with the utmost sensitivity.

Crucially, we do not use HealthKit data for advertising, marketing, or data mining purposes. We do not sell your health data to any third parties. Your HealthKit data is strictly used to power the core features of the Nucleus app, such as the AI coaching analysis.

2. Third-Party AI Services

To provide intelligent coaching and insights, Nucleus utilizes third-party AI APIs, specifically Together AI (running DeepSeek models). When you interact with the AI coach:

• Your chat inputs and necessary contextual health metrics are sent to the AI service provider via secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS).
• This data is NOT used to train external large language models. It is processed solely for the purpose of generating an immediate response to your query and is not retained by the API provider for model training.

3. Local Data Storage

Your privacy is our priority. For this version of Nucleus, your chat history, user profile, and personal preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not transmit or store your personal chat histories on our external servers or any cloud databases. If you delete the app, your local data will be permanently erased.
